Synopsis
Mixed martial arts fighter Reid Andrews’s chance to reclaim his title as light heavyweight champ is shattered when he’s injured only months before the rematch. To make sure he’s healed in time, his trainer sends him to recuperate under a professional’s care—Reid’s best friend’s little sister, all grown up.

Disorganized and bookish Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. She’d do anything to catch the eye of a doctor she’s crushed on for years, so when Reid offers seduction lessons in exchange for 24/7 conditioning for the biggest fight of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance.

Soon Reid finds him himself in the fight of his life...winning   Lucie's heart before she gives it to someone else.

My overall impression of the book

This was a really good read. I enjoyed this book and the love scenes were very hot. Reid is super sexy and the plot was very cute. The characters were a little one dimensional, nothing too deep about them. This story could have used a little more action.  Reid was a MMA fighter and did not get into one altercation during the book.  You can't write a story based on a fighter with no violence!!  Even if it's romance...it's against the rules :-). The book was a little short, but straight to the point. I would read another book from this author.   It was a pleasant Saturday afternoon read. I would suggest this book to others...

* This was a previous review posting from Goodreads

Characters:

Reid – Is the MMA Fighter of my dreams :-) I love the fact that he and Lucie had history, and who doesn’t love a man with tattoos and a mohawk.

Lucie – Was a okay heroine.  I really didn’t understand why her self-esteem was so low, but I am glad that she began to realize her worth more and more throughout the story.

Plot and Writing :  The writing was adequate and the story flowed nicely.  The plot was a little lacking.  As I already stated the story could have used a little more action and a stronger overall plot, but it was an enjoyable read.
